The chilly October air
wound through the valley
past the witch’s lair
and forests filled with ghosts
seeking souls to terrify
whenever someone passes by
on the way to the ancient village
nestled on the valley floor
where strangers disappeared
when they went there to explore
it’s the Season of the Witch
only this
and nothing more!
