what the Chihuahua said
went right to the Pug’s head
the praise was extreme
and came in a steady stream
but it was insincere
meant for a gullible ear
the praise was a ploy
like a rubber toy
a distraction
an animal interaction
where the Chihuahua
got mean satisfaction
watching the Pug’s reaction
to his insincere words
that were like mockingbirds

Thanks Darnell. Over the years I’ve had 3 pugs and 1 chihuahua. The chihuahua was the smartest and meanest.
