I’ll get right to it.
Trump has millions of fake Twitter followers. This should not come as a surprise to anyone who knows anything about the man. Twitter audited the president’s account and came up with 18 million fake accounts.
Status People, another site that rates the authenticity of Twitter followers, found that 5 percent of Trump’s followers are fake and another 91 percent are inactive.
That Trump seemingly has more fake followers than real ones can be attributed to the existence of bots, an umbrella term referring to accounts with no profile picture and no tweets.
Here’s a dirty little secret about twitter; you can buy followers. Really.
A New York Times article by Nick Bilton describes the social media bot industry as a “giant pyramid scheme” often used by big-name brands, A-list celebrities and regular people seeking a “social media ego boost.”
Ego boost. Sound familiar? Donny has always needed recognition. The whole drama of how many people attended his inauguration stems from his need to be loved. In his world, he’s always winning.
We must not forget about Trump’s beleaguered fraud commission searching for fake votes for Hillary Clinton and trying to invade state’s rights. Fact’s are merely something to be mauled for his own purposes.
Fair warning. Don’t bother showing Trump this article or the numerous other ones on the subject, because you know what he’ll say,
” More fake news…”
As It Stands, life is full of little ironies.
